Remy — Mobile App
Keeping connected kitchen journeys consistent on mobile.
Explore the project
The project
Remy connects kitchen inventory, recipe discovery, meal scheduling and grocery shopping in one mobile product. A change in one journey can affect the next: ingredients inform cooking choices, planned meals carry dates, and missing items belong on a shopping list.
Our work was a development contribution alongside the Remy team within an established React Native application. This case study covers that mobile contribution, with the separate website work presented in its own case study.

Our approach
We worked within Remy’s existing navigation, shared state and query-based data access. Contributions included onboarding and kitchen interface improvements, ingredient quantity and expiry displays, cookbook and recipe behavior, and planned-cook-date handling.
The work also included targeted account and session fixes, retailer-state handling and maintenance across connected screens. The emphasis was on fitting changes into the existing product journeys and keeping the relevant interface and account state consistent.

What we built
The engagement supported the mobile product through implementation and maintenance. The images show original Remy product UI supplied in the client’s website assets.
Kitchen interface work
Contributions covered ingredient layouts, quantities and expiry information.
Recipe and cookbook changes
Targeted improvements supported recipe discovery and saved cooking content.
Meal-date behavior
Development work addressed planning interactions tied to cooking dates.
Connected maintenance
Account, session and navigation fixes supported the existing app journeys.
