The project
IGG’s online insurance website serves people choosing and applying for cover. It gives motor, travel and liability products their own application journeys, with the information and supporting documents appropriate to each type of insurance.
This is the public purchase experience within the wider IGG work. Existing policyholders use the separate customer portal, while the insurer’s staff handle operational tasks through their own dashboard.
Our approach
We broke detailed applications into ordered steps. Motor insurance collects the relevant insurer, vehicle and policy information alongside its pricing flow. Travel starts from the trip and coverage requirements, and liability has a separate sequence of fields and confirmations.
The interface keeps application progress connected to the selected product. Validation, document handling, premium calculations and payment steps support the journey from initial details to the relevant confirmation, with server-side integrations connecting the submitted information to the insurer’s systems.
